Happy Birthday to my two greatest men on earth!

Happy Birthday!!

Here are my two greatest men on earth and they were both born on the 18th of July.

A Happy Birthday to my Dad who I believe is a wonderful person. He has never been one for giving lectures (and yet I have learnt so much by his example),he is very laid back to the point that despite being the first born in a family of 7 he is by far the youngest looking one of them all(in fact he came with me to one of my daughter's school functions and everyone thought we were her parents and not Mom and Grandad) and the healthiest. My Dad is involved with a lot of charitable organisations and is truly a good person. He has 6 ugly little buses that always break down and when my brother offered to buy him a brand new 4 x 4 he refused saying he is very happy with his broken little bread loaf shaped buses(I wish I had a picture to show you guys). When he fell in love with my mother his parents were totally against it.He still went ahead and proposed and my Mom got married in a beautiful white wedding dress(which was totally appropriate by the way) and despite his parents refusing and not attending the wedding, the wedding went ahead and the pictures show two very young but very in love couple.Because he would not allow himself to be bullied my brother and I are now here.My brother is the spitting image of my dad down to the laugh and I inherited his nose and mouth. And the 3 of us all walk the same-quick,fast and it looks like we have a problem bending our knees (which we don't).I love you very much Papa Guy and I hope you have many more wonderful birthdays!!!

And now to my Madiba. How do I begin to thank you for all you have done for South Africa, for its people, for the spirit of unity you have inspired in us,for the progress we have made as a nation, for the sacrifices you made for us.I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. And wish you a very wonderful birthday!!May there be many many more......
