It's that time again where I get to announce the winners of my latest book giveaway which was for 6 copies of the book Michael Jackson:The Madness,The Magic,The Whole Story
I totally enjoyed some of the comments I received and was really glad to see that most (save one) commenters still hold Michael Jackson in their hearts despite all the controversy.I went right ahead and bought the book and boy,are these winners in for a treat. The book spans the entire life of Michael Jackson from 1958 right through to 2009.It answered some questions which I had not even thought of including some publicity stunts, which at the time I had had no idea were publicity stunts. This book takes you into the world of celebrities and especially the music industry.I got an insight into recording contracts and how they work and that was really interesting.I will never buy another CD before checking out where it comes from actually(something I never did before or took note of).
This writer J Randy Taraborrelli is excellent in this book(he forms part of the story sometimes due to his close proximity to the Jackson family) and I am now going to buy the Madonna book written by him.
On a personal level it explores Michael Jackson's childhood, the rise to fame, the drama behind the molestation allegations, his marriage to Lisa Marie Presley(some stuff I had never heard of not even when I watched Oprah),the children he had with Debbie Rowe and much much more.In fact ALL my questions got answered and some more...
